Adult Whenua Brown Korowai
Couldn't load pickup availability
Our Tan Brown design is inspired by the Whenua (land) and Papatuanuku, the Earth Mother in Māori tradition. Trees, birds, and human life are all said to be born from Papatūānuku and nourished by the land. Our design features black, greens to natural browns with a striped beige coque feather, finished with a touch of white and a 2in tan patiki taniko band. Our kākahu are crafted with aesthetic beauty and heirloom-level quality, and have been featured in publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Tatler, and Glamour Magazine. They are designed by wahine (female) Māori, and made by a whanau (family) enterprise in New Zealand, adhering to tikanga (cultural customs) and kaumatua (elder) guidance.
We have stock on-hand and can ship your order in 3-5 business days. If you need your Korowai sooner, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. Thanks, Hiria.

These Korowai are categorised as FRAGILE GARMENTS and need special care and attention to see it last as a multi-generational heirloom.
Spot clean only - do not machine wash or handwash. Do not twist or wring. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean. Never iron. Due to the fragile nature of the feathers, you will risk damaging your Korowai if you do not follow these strict care instructions.
If you must spot clean your Korowai, do not hang it in direct or strong sunlight as this can damage and cause your feather colours to fade over time. Let it dry out in the shade.
